The F-150 Raptor finally has a little brother worth mentioning in the United States and it is the all new Ford Ranger Raptor. Almost the size of an F-150, The Ranger Raptor is like other Raptors, a Ranger on steroids. The Ranger Raptor is rumored to come to America in 2023, having been available outside of the US in more arid areas, the Ranger comes home. From the pictures we have seen the Ranger Raptor looks more like the F-150 than the new 2023 Ranger. The medium sized pickup features more off-road capability than any other Ranger previously and offers more off-roading features than before. It also comes with all of the pleasing graphics and cosmetic flair that we like in the F-150 Raptor and the Bronco Raptor. The Ranger Raptor is an off-roading beast. 2023 is set to be a big year for Ford and the Ranger Raptor is one big, well biggish, reason why.
What Engine will the Ranger Raptor Feature?
The Engine will be a 3.0 liter V-6 that produces 392 horsepower and 430 pound feet of torque. This engine will be very similar to the one powering the Bronco Raptor, but hopefully offer a little bit more pep and power than the Bronco. The Ranger will be a lighter build so the acceleration will be felt more than in the Bronco. The Ranger Raptor will drive much like the current Raptor with precise steering, and power. The 10 speed automatic, like on Ford’s larger F-150, will make the acceleration powerful and consistent. The Raptor will definitely be much larger than the other Ford Rangers, much as the F-150 Raptor is larger than the F-150. The Ranger Raptor will be wider and boxier than the current Ranger, and hopefully feature an exterior styling similar to that of the Ford F-150 and the Ford Maverick.
What will the interior of the Ranger Raptor be Like?
The 2023 Ford Ranger Raptor will be similar to its ranger counterpart, but with much more flair and refined materials. The leather seats will be similar to the F-150 Raptor, with leather seats that have suede accents. The Ranger Raptor will also have the orange cross stitching that makes a Raptor feel like a Raptor. This medium-to-large sized pickup will also feature some of the better interior styling and features that Ford has to offer. With one of Ford’s larger screens present on the interior, at 8 inches. The Steering wheel will also feature an accent mark at the 12 o'clock line, to denote performance and capability.
The Ford Ranger Raptor is here and it is dressed to impress as a new and improved Ranger. The Raptor will also be built to perform, not all of the flair of the Raptor is in the stitching, but a lot of it is under the hood. The engine will be more powerful than the current engine on the Ranger and get it up to speed quicker than usual. This pickup truck is the perfect off-roading machine.
