The All-New Ford Bronco is Making Its Return!

The Ford Bronco will make its return to the Ford lineup in early 2020. After being absent from the market for over 20 years, the Ford Bronco promises to make a huge splash in the North East, PA area. This mid-size 2021 Ford Bronco will likely be available in two- and four-door configurations.

Ford hasn't yet released all of the details about the upcoming Ford Bronco, but we do know a bit about what's coming our way when the 2021 Ford Bronco hits our showroom in the Fairview, PA area in 2020. Read on to learn more about what to expect from the all-new Ford Bronco.

Open Air Design Built for Off-Road Action

The 2021 Ford Bronco will feature removable doors and a removable roof, making it the only open-air Ford model. Waterford, PA shoppers will apparently have the luxury of choosing a removable hardtop roof, soft top roof, or a roll-out mesh roof that will allow air in while blocking out sunlight. According to reports, the Ford Bronco will feature side-mirrors that are mounted on the front pillars, which means that Erie driver will be able to use the mirrors once the doors have been removed, unlike the design in the current Wrangler models.

The all-new Ford Bronco will share a platform with the Ranger, Ford's mid-size truck. A longer wheelbase will add to the Bronco's off-road capability by minimizing the amount of rear body overhang. The overall exterior design hasn't been revealed, although Ford has released pictures of the new Bronco under a car cover, suggesting a boxy exterior design.

According to Joe Hinrichs, Ford's president of the Americas, the 2021 Bronco will "a no-compromise mid-size 4X4" SUV that will have the capabilities necessary to conquer "everything from your daily commute to gravel roads and boulders." By all reports, we can expect the 2021 Ford Bronco to be an off-road, trail-eating machine that lives up to its historic name.

Ford Performance

Potential buyers should expect the 2021 Ford Bronco's handling to be outstanding. Ford has not yet confirmed the details of the powertrain, but the current Ford Ranger is powered by a 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost® engine and a 10-speed automatic transmission. For the manual transmission fan, the 2021 Ford Bronco may ship with a new seven-speed manual transmission that has been made available. Erie shoppers can also expect a hybrid Ford Bronco to follow.

The Ford Bronco will come with the most up-to-date technology. The available SYNC® 4 infotainment system will have compatibility with both Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. It is rumored that the new Bronco will support an off-road navigation system and a new enhancement titled "Convoy Communications."

Perfect for Adventure Seekers Everywhere

The 2021 Ford Bronco will be an ideal SUV for anyone who loves to get off-road once in a while, but who also appreciates innovative design and iconic styling. The removable top and doors will let in the sun, fun, and fresh air on those warm summer days when you want to feel the wind in your hair and get a little closer to nature.
