A 10-speed automatic transmission is paired with the latter two engines and a six-speed automatic transmission is paired with the 6.2-liter engine. Crew cab models with 4WD and the 6.2-liter can tow 12,500 pounds and Regular cab models with RWD and the diesel engine can pull 15,200 pounds. F-350 Price and Engine
Starting price for the Super Duty F-350 ranges from $38,830 for the Regular Cab XL to $89,850 for the Crew Cab Limited edition. You have the choice of three powerful engine choices – in gasoline, a 6.2-liter V-8 that makes 385 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque or the 7.3-liter V-8 that delivers 430 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque. The third-choice is optional in the F-350, but will surely catch your attention. The 6.7-liter with a V-8 Powerstroke turbo diesel engine, makes 475 hp and a hefty 1,050 lb-ft of torque. Available with every engine choice, is the heavy-duty 10-speed TorqShift automatic transmission that sends power to a permanent 4X4 AWD system. Rear-wheel drive is standard and four-wheel drive is optional.
F-450 Price and Engine
The F-450 is a step up from the F-350 with its standard diesel engine. Pricing ranges from $57,445 for the Regular Cab XL to $95,100 for the Crew Cab Limited edition. All models come equipped with the powerful 6.7-liter Power stroke V-8 Turbo Diesel engine and 1,050 lb-ft of torque, making it the towing champion of Ford’s Super Duty lineup. Upgraded only for this diesel engine is the Exhaust Braking and its available 10-speed Torqshift automatic transmission puts this engine over the top.

Tremor and Towing Options
The Super Duty Tremor Off-Road Package upgrade starts with raised front suspension and special shock absorbers, followed by 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac all-terrain off-road tires. It also includes special drive modes for off-roading, a returned suspension, upgraded shock absorbers, a locking rear differential, a limited-slip front differential, a rock-crawl mode and low speed cruise control. Skid plates are also included. When properly equipped with the 6.7-liter Power stroke V-8 Turbo Diesel engine, the Super Duty’s can tow up to 37,000 pounds and haul up to 7,850 pounds of payload.
